I blame J. Savings. He’s just mad that I spend less on clothing each year than he does.
I just won a $25 Threadless gift card in a contest giveaway he was running. Yippee!
I used it to buy two t-shirts for me ($9 & $5) and order a cute t-shirt for one of my nephews for his birthday soon. ($9)
Total spent with shipping was $12.99.
To update after this purchase and my spendy trip to NYC, my 2009 clothing expenditure is: $832.39
The good thing is that those expensive new boots get a lot of wear, about 2x a week. I love them! They’re getting nicely burnished to a beautiful darker brown.
But I’m still shopping for a coat.

Hey Mapgirl, not sure if you are aware, but your website header seems to have been hijacked or something, at least it looks that way on my end, having the Firefox NoScript add-on installed. There is some crazy offensive stuff that shows up right under your title. Looking at the page source, it seems to stem from the following two websites:

and so on. When I “allow” your site to script, the offensive stuff disappears…Just wanted to give you a head’s up, it was so, so weird seeing all that stuff in your otherwise great blog!
