I’ve been meaning to rave about Heidi’s Pies for a while. Boyfriend and I ate there for brunch and picked up some pies for dinner, boysenberry, chocolate cream and apple. All of them were amazing. Freshly baked with interesting specials like strawberry and German chocolate.
It’s on El Camino Real north of the Hillsdale Caltrain station. (Closest to Hillsdale Mall)
Warm pie with ice cream is wonderful stuff. My nephews couldn’t get enough of it. I also took a pie to my cousin and her husband for hosting us. (And a bottle of wine.)
The pies weren’t too expensive. About $15 each which seems about right to me. (I sold pies at a bakery in high school and we charged about $15. Remember in CA, you don’t pay as much for fruit ingredients.)
