It’s just allocations of Neighborhood Stabilization Program Grants by HUD, but you can see the specific amounts going to counties in your state, as well as state-wide amounts. I find the local foreclosure rates quite interesting.
I think people who are encouraging squatters to live in foreclosed homes could probably access this grant money if they write up a program for how the money can be used to keep the homes occupied. Rather than do something illegal like trespassing, they could actually provide some decent low-income housing.
