ING Direct Referrals

by mapgirl on September 8, 2008

ING Direct Savings accounts will earn you $25 for an opening deposit amount of $250 or more. If you use a referral link, I’ll get $10.

I still haven’t used mine up. Thanks to Tricia at Blogging Away Debt, I got motivated to figure out how to make links to post in my blog. As they get used up, I will strike them out and post new ones. At the moment, the beneficiary of these referrals is me. You will be helping me build back up my Save-O-Meter by using these links, and I will give you my eternal gratitude.

When all my referrals are used up, like other PF bloggers do, I will ask for for referrals. If you prefer that I email you a link directly, that’s fine. Just send me an email or leave me a comment asking for one and I’ll get your email address from the WordPress interface. My Gmail account is the FULL name of this blog without the apostrophe or spaces at gmail dot com.

I thought people looking for a good rate with a company that supports social and environmental responsibility might enjoy a high-yield savings account with the bank I work with, ShoreBank. The interest is 3.5% – so very competitive. There are some benefits to the account, online access, a minimum of $1, and no monthly fees. Check it out: http://shorebankdirect.sbk.com/

Hello from one of your random lurkers. :)

As an ex-WaMu customer (who had negative customer service experiences with Chase and does not desire to wind up a Chase customer, again) I revisited the ING Direct thing in shopping for a new bank. So I figured I could use the referral and maybe it would help you out a little, too. (I’m the one who used that checking one; so far I’m really impressed with them, so thanks!)

Have a good weekend!
