		<description>I find it interesting that you post your financial goals online but I guess that it is the intent of your blog -- to provide personal advice on money and finance and seeing you willing update your goals for readers is both fascinating and encouraging. 

Unfortunately I&#039;m too scared to see my big financial picture on paper because I know that I&#039;m deep in the hole thanks to credit card companies staking out poor college students on campus and funding two degrees at a private university. I&#039;m going through a divorce so I won&#039;t have the savings from the shared expenses to put toward the debt. I read tips at www.girlsjustwannahavefunds.com that have been helpful because I&#039;ve seen the stockpile of change raise in the savings account. 

I did recently check my credit report and found that I have five credit cards open that I have not or never used in several years. Does keeping them open, albeit unused, help or hurt my credit score? Would you suggest that I close the accounts if I never intend to use them?</description>
