Hey, you're making some progress!

I found that leaving my credit cars at home and using my debit card only helped me to stop making credit card purchases. When I did use a credit card, I used my American Express, which HAD TO BE paid off at the end of the month. Fear of screwing up my credit kept me from abusing that card. Fear of bouncing my checking account kept me from overdrawing it.

Actually, I dislike diet soda which is why I'm forcing myself to try it so that if I want a soda, I can have one. Truthfully, water is the best drink and I've been buying cartons of OJ to put into the fridge at work. That actually is working out pretty well for me. One cup of OJ and one cup of coffee in the morning. Water or OJ for lunch and water the rest of the afternoon.

I'm really not sure that diet soda is the answer to losing weight! I've been reading a bunch of stuff online about how it messes up your metabolism and I discussed it with an acquaintance who is a nutritionist and she agrees that it is something to avoid. I've been drinking Hansen's cane sugar soda mixed with seltzer water when I need something bubbly. It IS a really hard habit to break!
