You just made the nutritionist in me cry. :)

Fitday.com is another good tracker. It does exercise, diet, and weight, and you can make specific goals. And it's free.

Mapgirl!!! What kind of diet is this? You need to start eating fruits and vegetables! And the "spinach" in that croissant does not count. It is SO important for your health. Eat an orange for a snack instead of slices packed in syrup. Nag,nag, nag, but you know its true - keep eating a diet like this and you are just asking for colon cancer. Ok, I'll stop lecturing....

I have to admit that I'm trying to diet to fit into my clothes...I'm kinda against buying big pants...I always get a little heavier in the winter (no tennis or biking)...but I refuse to let it ruin my budget...

for calorie counting, i use www.thedailyplate.com. It's awesome, FREE, and you could log the prices of the food you ate in your diary there, too.

I've found the best way to lose is to just start incorporating way more veggies into your diet. Veggies are so low cal, and since they're so high in fiber, they really fill you up. Buy frozen bags of broccoli, spinach, green beans, etc. to snack on, and make sure you eat about 3 C. a day...

If you are really serious, sparkpeople.com is a good site to check out. Recipe's food plans... A little hard core for me, but works for some.

I knew coffee was only 10 calories. Except if you add milk and sugar. I just add milk, which I need more of anyway.

Hi Mapgirl, since I am kind of stuck in this reality right now, I thought I would offer up some things I have learned.

Just for help -

First off - don't eat anything after dinner. The problem with this meal is the McDonalds - the fat in the food makes you hungry (mentally) and brings on the urge to snack on unhealthy stuff. I'm not sure why, just what I have learned.

2nd - get some Luna Bars - they are 70% organic with tons of vitamins and fiber and about 180 calories each. Keep them in your purse or desk. When you forget to bring healthy snacks reach for one.

Which leads me to number 3 add 2 snacks to your diet - in between breakfast and lunch / lunch and dinner. This will keep your sugar leveled out and motabolism moving to help burn calories.

Oh, and one last thing - If you eat a high fat meal like McDonalds (after all I believe in all things in moderation) - add a yogurt or other dairy product. Dairy has been proven to attach to fat and expel it from your body.

Have a great day! Good Luck
