Funny story. I think with workers like that, they come across that situation so many times, they just know what’s better for the customer

Awesome story.

(McDonald’s likely made their money when you bought the original food to get the Monopoly coupon. They may have lost a small amount, but they’re probably reasonably confident they’ll make more money off of you. Otherwise, they’ll make the money off of others.)
