DC PF Blogger Happy Hour Recap

by mapgirl on October 29, 2007

Nick of Punny Money was our fabulous host (boys can be fabulous too!) on the Red Line Metro. Cleverdude was also in attendence as well as Mrs. Micah and one of my friends who had a question to ask, but never got around to it. He was too busy telling me dead baby jokes of appalling humor. I suffered through it because he was giving me an old set of speakers for my new laptop. YAY!

Anyhow, I was really glad to see some familiar faces and to meet Mrs. Micah for the first time in person. I have to say I really liked her Sausage Lentil Soup recipe. It inspired me to make my own version this weekend in my crockpot. YUM!

I will post my variant this week. Hooray for Mrs. Micah for helping me cook more often at home. I really it need it this month.

Glad to see your MT issues were resolved.

Sorry I wasn’t able to make the DC getogethers. I am having a family situation right now.

Curious, when you guys meet do you refer to each by your blog names or do you use your real names?

Hi Raymond – No. I am the only foolish one who goes by my blog name. But that is because that was my nickname before having the blog.

That was a pretty good question on Money Blue Book’s end.

You think in terms of people of their user names, but I could never have people call me Vixen in real life. I’d die of laughter. :-D

Your site is not hosted at (mt) Mediatemple. Could this be mistaken identity?

Andrew – The DB that drives this site is at MediaTemple, but the rest of the pages are served by someone else.
