Blog Spotlight: Dimes to Dollars
I don’t do this often, but I think some blogs need a boost. I’ve been lurking on Dimes to Dollars, dropping an occasional comment. Dimes is a military wife. I believe her husband is in the Navy. They’ve just moved cross-country.
She’s got a pretty good blog. I like the topics she picks and the military point of view. Her post on how Deployment effects finances is an eye opener. You’ll start to see the financial enticement that we give to our soldiers beyond the GI Bill.
The best part is that she’s training to become an Accredited Financial Counselor. This means someone who is counseling people on their finances. It’s not advice on how to get more out of what you’ve got. It’s more like helping people who are in over their heads get their noses above the water.
