You Guys are Going to Make Me Cry
The first of 4 projects at the DonorsChoose.org - PFBlogs.org Challenge has been fully funded. (Please use the donation button on the thermometer to the right so it registers to the challenge.)
Five donors have already participated, one of who emailed me to tell me they gave a generous $100.00 to the Lenny Loot project that is in my neck of the woods. Oy. I’m getting verklempt. (Where’s that Kleenex box I just bought BOGO on Sunday?) It’s the start of a new school year and your gift right now will help teachers get the resources to put their projects in place before the 1st semester ends, heck, before the 1st quarter at most schools.
I should note that the donation thermometer updates automatically with your donation, but if you would like a public acknowledgment in my blog, please let me know. You don’t have to tell me the depth of your generosity if that’s your choosing, but I will be glad to applaud you here.
I’d also like to thank Jim for reminding me that the IRS needs a receipt for ALL donations, regardless of the amount. So feel free to give as little as makes your budget feel comfortable.
