here are a few of mine in no particular order:

I don't own a tv, so there's no cost for cable, or dvd's, or even the increased electric bill;

I cut & color my own hair;

I have a small garden that mainly produces wonderful, organic tomatoes;

I bought a new car in '94 that is decent on gas mileage, and which my mechanic says will go to 300,000 miles if I continue to take care of it;

I research large purchases weeks & maybe even months before buying - figuring out what I want, then waiting for sales....and I buy energy star appliances, which have led to reduced electric & water bills;

And, more recently, I began hitting the off switch to the surge protector that connects to my printer & computer almost every time I turn off my computer - and saw another noticeable drop in the electric bill.

And last, I keep myself as healthy as possible (through nutrition & lifestyle) and limit my medical costs.
