Round Up of Other Frugal Lifestyle Posts
My post had its intended effect. (Hooray!) People are coming out of the woodwork with the simple things they do to live frugally. Because my list is driven mostly off Technorati, please email me or leave a comment if you also have a post you would like included.
Read them all. I think you’ll start to sense some patterns of behavior and psychology which manifest the underlying values these bloggers have about personal finance.

here are a few of mine in no particular order:
I don’t own a tv, so there’s no cost for cable, or dvd’s, or even the increased electric bill;
I cut & color my own hair;
I have a small garden that mainly produces wonderful, organic tomatoes;
I bought a new car in ‘94 that is decent on gas mileage, and which my mechanic says will go to 300,000 miles if I continue to take care of it;
I research large purchases weeks & maybe even months before buying - figuring out what I want, then waiting for sales….and I buy energy star appliances, which have led to reduced electric & water bills;
And, more recently, I began hitting the off switch to the surge protector that connects to my printer & computer almost every time I turn off my computer - and saw another noticeable drop in the electric bill.
And last, I keep myself as healthy as possible (through nutrition & lifestyle) and limit my medical costs.
