Don’t forget Screen on the Green and its various suburban incarnations (in Rosslyn, Shirlington, etc). FREE! The last time I went to Screen on the Green, we brought our own appetizers and on the way to the Mall took advantage of Subway’s “after 4:00PM” special. CHEAP! :o)

Hey MG,
Me and Saladdin Girl Friend are coming up to DC in August on our first trip. We plan on hitting all the Smithsonian’s ( we are geeky like that). We are staying at the Holiday Inn at the Capitol. Any “local” tips you can give?

Also, I read your comment on mymoneyblog.com about institutional tickers. My 401K is with ING and they told me their institutional funds did not have tickers. Was I told incorrectly about Inst. funds having tickers?

Yep, I’m a bike rider also. It’s odd but since i’m such a messy person my bf will stay in and clean up together. Or go to a nice jazz club with no cover and listen to music.

Nice, thanks for referencing our date idea! We enjoy walking/biking too, but I’m more of a mountain biker (than on the road), so we’re currently looking for a relatively inexpensive mtn bike for my husband. Hello, Craislist…
