*sigh* Jericho Hill, one of the list mods at Get Rich Slowly forums went to the happy hour we had last night. I extended an invitation when I saw he was from DC. My bad.
He is a prime Casey Serin Hater, so he brought me up to date on Mr. Serin’s sad travails.
And all I could do is pray that God would not kill me for my schadenfreude.
JH then told me to visit caseypedia.com, the wiki for the Casey Haters. I fear I am one and will have to join this elite club of people who pay their bills on time and have integrity.

and now I’m typing this comment in disbelief. its a great wiki though. I guess.
The Caseypedia is the funniest freakin thing I have ever read. I think about this sociopath and criminal sometimes when I write my 29.00 extra check to Sallie Mae, or when I am picking up cans to get to my goal of paying off my debt. When I get depressed, I think about how KC is gettin’ away with it. Now I have the cure: Read the Caseypedia and understand the phrase ” A hell of one’s own making”.
Holy smokes! I remember hearing about this dude, but to see his experience in print brings all the controversy in focus.
Yeah, I got no love for that guy. He’s gotten a lot of fame and fortune for his poor judgement. While I guess its good to be famous, my admiration for his fame is tempered by the fact that he got it by going into a HUGE amount of debt.
Also, people don’t realize this, but he’s probably cost a fair amount of people some pain and suffering, for example the lenders who gave him credit have lost money, and he has left his wife without financial support.
In addition, Casey may have commited mortgage fraud, which is both ethically questionable and illegal.
Its best that we not further promote Casey on line and this his behavior be understand as what it is: improper and possibly illegal.
