Mother’s Day

by mapgirl on May 11, 2007

I’m going home this weekend. I’ll be admiring the new windows my mother put in with the bonus money I handed over to her.

Meanwhile, go read the post at Make Love Not Debt about the expectations of Asian children helping their parents.

Him specifically called me out on this and I certainly have a lot to say about it, but it’s very personal stuff.

More later (ETA: next week). I’m off for work now.

hey! I always read your blog (through my blog reader)! I can’t always visit since I sneak in some blog reading at work while reading library/tech blogs and the sites with ads for loans and debt always give it away I am not doing work reading!

Have a great mother’s day and enjoy her windows!

Enjoy the windows, I’m saving to buy my parents a house. Sigh, I read make love, not debt. If I don’t want our parents living with us we’re buying 3 homes. The obligations of life.
