Carnival of Personal Finance #84 is Up!

Jim has it up at Blueprint for Financial Prosperity.

Yours truly is finally participating after a long hiatus. I didn’t participate because I didn’t think I was writing anything good enough to contribute for the past few months. But there’s a bumper crop of things to read!

The articles that caught my eye, which I will have to bookmark and read later:

Dividend Guy recommends some investing books. Good. I’ve been looking for something to read and research.

Tricia at Blogging Away Debt has a Prosper.com lender interview.

Since I don’t have a TV, I need to read review notes of the 20/20 special by Frugal Law Student.

Penny Nickel on Martin Luther King’s position on economic justice, an important topic for which I am readying a post.

For humor, The Frugal Duchess reviews Ugly Betty as inspiring source of frugality. It seems I might need to get a tv.

    Hey Mapgirl:

Thanks so much for the mention! I appreciate the link. And you know I really enjoy your site. I loved the post about dining out rules!

I don’t have cable or conventional tv. I watch Ugly Betty at abc.com. It’s free to download and watch the shows. They keep it current.
    Thanks again & Take Care!

I got a really awesome and huge duffle bag at my first internship along with a mug and polo shirt. The duffle bag’s been my favorite corporate shwag I’ve gotten pretty handy for weekend trips or when staying over at friend’s houses.

my last job gave me a poloshirt but they didn’t have any small sizes so I got a large. it’s still in a box somewhere gathering dust.
