No More Wall Street Journal

I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep my subscription. But in the interest of trying to be more frugal, I am passing on the subscription for now. I got along without it before it started, I’ll be fine without it after it ends this week.

I’m sure my ranty-pants opinions will still find stuff to blog here about personal finance and money and interest rates. Bye-bye Wall Street Journal! I’ll miss you!

To keep me company, the company has graciously begin a free access for 10 days, coinciding with my last issue this morning!

I don’t blame you on that. I wouldn’t be getting it if my company weren’t paying for the subscription. There is so much available online now: they usually have several free articles availble at their main site, at their Opinion Journal, plus all the other online publications. I find I don’t go through the print edition like I used to with everything else easy to access.

Yeah, I struggled with that question, too, but ended up letting it lapse. I miss it on occasion, but I can always find something better to do with 100 bucks! [Plus, this gives my parents something “easy” to get me for Christmas next year if they’re stuck and want to spend that much. Heh.]
