April 2006 Net Worth Update

by mapgirl on May 1, 2006

TCB on some updates. I updated the graph on the left with my April 2006 net worth totals. It’s a little high due to some Quicken errors with reversing entries for payment of principal with interest debits. It’s very annoying and confusing and one of my least favorite parts of the software. However, I still love it.

I am making great strides with my retirement account, especially since it’s been growing a lot just in terms of return on investment, and not just my regular contributions. In three months, if my funds do well, I should hit the $10K mark.

I’m two months shy of my Save-O-Meter goal. I’ve added another $49.79 for 73.63% of my goal. I hope to be finished this goal in two more months. Then I think I’ll tackle my credit card debt since it’s growing this summer due to wedding vacations I am taking. However, I did receive the world’s most expensive cheese last week when one of the happy couples came to visit me. They brought with them one of my favorite cheeses ever, Flagship by Beechers, a chunk of Mariachi (Chipotle and spices! Caliente!), and some cookies from Le Panier. (That was all shameless foodie name dropping for Seattle Simplicity.)
