Love Your Library!

by mapgirl on April 25, 2006

I got VA State Tax Forms pre-printed. For a small fee, I can use the library printers if I need to print something out. It sure beats going to Kinko’s and feeding the meter on top of paying for the copies. My municipal library has a lot of great services and I see families there all the time checking out foreign language books and DVD’s.

I pulled out a couple more personal finance books that I’ll be reviewing here in the next few weeks.

Get yourself a library card!

Hear, hear.

The library is allowing me to feed my son’s great addiction to Bob the Builder videos without spending a penny. When he was on his major Thomas the Tank Engine kick, I made the mistake of buying several videos. Don’t need to go down that road again.

Libraries are awesome, I live about a two minute walk from the local library and I try to visit at least once a week. Besides not buying books that I’ll only read once, I can borrow DVDs and other good stuff. It’s really convenient.

Whenever I move to a new place, a library card is the first thing I get. People just don’t appreciate libraries enough!

Debt Hater–Me too!! I don’t feel like I’ve moved into a place until I have a library card in my hand.
