		<description>Thanks for the post.  I agree wholeheartedly.  When Madame X asked the question 'What makes you feel poor?', I wrote that I feel poor when I think about having to take care of my parents if they get sick.  They didn't have the foresight to purchase long term care insurance when it was still affordable.  They were too busy taking care of other people.  And although they've saved up a bit of money for retirement, they're in that not-so-sweet spot of having too much to qualify for medicaid but not enough to pay out of pocket if they need long term care.  It keeps me humble.  No matter how much I save, I know that it won't necessarily be enough.  It doesn't prevent me from enjoying life, but it definitely influences my spending habits.</description>
